After thirteen wonderful years together, Justin and I are looking forward to having our dream wedding surrounded by our families and friends in Newry, Maine.
We have chosen to get married at a beautiful ski-lodge called SkiEsta, the reception will be held here as well.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in just a few months. Thank you to all of our friends and family for the love and support you’ve given us over the years.
For all of you who will be coming in from out of town, we can provide you with several suggestions of places to stay. Some of you will be joining us at the house for a vacation after the wedding and we can’t wait!
There will be a short ceremony held at 12:00pm on Sunday September 3rd, 2017. There will be a low key reception immediately following the ceremony that will last until 6:00pm. We will have a DJ for the day, lawn games, limited alcohol provided (including some beer brewed in Virginia by a close friend of ours!)
At the top of this page, you should see an RSVP link that will let you respond to our invitation as well as pick your preferred type of pizza (as it is a pizza party!). The third tab is the location of the event and the best ways to contact us should you have any other questions. Since this is a destination wedding, we ask that you please not bring gifts, but we will have a lobster trap setup for cards and well wishes.
As far as the dress code, we want everyone to be dressed tastefully comfortable and ready for a day outside. Think “weekend in the Hamptons” or a day at a golf club for inspiration. Since our big day will be the first time some of you have been together in a long time, we'd like a lot of photos and want everyone looking their best! No tuxes or gowns needed. The colors we've picked for the theme of the day are navy, maroon, grey, and forest green.
Guys: Khakis/chinos or bermuda shorts, polos, button downs, boat shoes/loafers are ideal. Patterns are welcomed and basic sport coats are cool. (NO denim, sneakers, cargo shorts, t-shirts, boots, or camo prints)
Ladies: Sundresses, shorts, blouses, big hats and sunglasses would be perfect. (Since you'll probably also be dressing the guys, we won't be too picky)
